One thing that has been a constant issue with employee scheduling is keeping track of the various requests made by the employees. A misplaced request for any reason can cause a lot of problems. The employee will be upset. You may be able to change the schedule, spending yet more of your time working on the schedule. If you are unable to change the schedule, you run the risk of the employee being "sick" that day and being short staffed. The solution to this problem is to never lose any requests made by them.
